Tsukuba International University Medical Technology Department students take public training course ~ Acquire basic skills required in clinical settings ~
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, 30 students from the Department of Medical Technology at Tsukuba International University participated in the "Student Training" held at our company, EBM Haneda Medical Skills Training Center. (This training was designed for students studying under the old curriculum, with the aim of acquiring basic skills and knowledge related to new duties in line with the 2021 revision of the Clinical Engineer Act.)
On the day of the training, students from all over the country were paired up and engaged in a wide range of practical exercises, including puncture practice using an arteriovenous vascular model, putting on and taking off sterile gowns and gloves, and operating an endoscopic videoscope.
In particular, the paired exercises with students from other schools not only required students to acquire skills, but also required teamwork and cooperation, making it possible to truly experience the depth of learning.
Under the careful guidance of the instructor, the participating students actively participated in the exercises despite feeling nervous, and it was a valuable opportunity to hone the basic skills and practical abilities required in the clinical setting.
Going forward, we will continue to strive to support the development of personnel who can immediately contribute to clinical settings, and will continue to provide practical learning opportunities.
