Thank you for visiting our website today.
BM Co., Ltd. was founded on August 9, 2006 as a manufacturing venture by university students in Ota Ward, Tokyo, which is crowded with small factories.
I spent a total of 5 years studying master's and doctoral programs, and am currently continuing to develop surgical training simulators and conduct research on quantifying surgical skills.
Our first product, the off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery (OPCAB) training device YOUCAN / BEAT, has been used by over 1,000 domestic and international surgeons, Waseda University students and teachers, local factories, governments, and medical device manufacturers. Completed with support.
This off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery became famous because His Majesty the Emperor underwent it, but it is a delicate surgery that Japan is very good at worldwide, and through simulator training, Japanese technology can be used in the world's medical field. It also has the potential to contribute to development.
The company name, EBM, is an abbreviation for Engineering Based Medicine, rather than Evidence Based Medicine, which is used in the world of conventional medicine.
It has been a while since we started hearing the term medical-engineering collaboration, but our goal of EBM is to use engineering and engineering methods to design and embody the medical care that society and society will need in the future. is.
With the vision of Engineering Based Medicine, we will strive to support medical professionals who are doing their best in clinical work every day, and to contribute to new developments unique to Japan.
Currently, our products are steadily increasing, including not only BEAT and YOUCAN, but also blood flow analysis software hemoscope, high brightness fluorescent particles FLUOSTAR for flow visualization experiments, pig skin for suture training, neurosurgical vascular anastomosis models, tabletop microscopes, etc. Ta.
In addition, in March 2013, we were selected for the Fukushima Medical and Welfare Equipment Development Project Subsidy (2013-2013), and the EBM Fukushima Manufacturing Development Center FIST (Fukushima Institute of Surgical Training) in front of Fukushima Station was completed. As with the development of outdoor Dry Lab training, we emphasize collaboration between industry, government, and academia, and are promoting activities that aim to make society even a little better.
Team EBM has one idea.
"I want to respond to the wishes of doctors who aim to improve their skills! I want to support doctors who are working hard on medical care!"
I believe that when this idea becomes a reality, many lives will be saved and much happiness will be bestowed from doctors to patients.
This is a venture that I started with just my thoughts and passion, without knowing anything about social customs or business practices.
I understand that this may be disrespectful to the people involved, but I hope that everyone will accept the comments and reprimands honestly and learn from each one as they grow.
We look forward to your continued support and encouragement.
