Overview:
Traditionally, on-the-job training (On JT) has been used for young doctors and trainees to learn surgical techniques. Therefore, there was a difference in the skills of young doctors depending on the training experience and the training methods provided by the facility, which became a problem.
 
“Training anytime, Training anywhere.” this is the concept of simulator training of EBM Corporation. JSCVS (Japan Society for Cardio-Vascular Surgery) started a new accreditation duty of 30 hours Off The Job Training for young surgeons who wish to be certified CV surgeons. The simulators of EBM Corporation are widely used OJT and the most familiar CV simulator company in Japan.
 
This workshop is the 1st EBM/ J&J collaboration event in Vietnam.
We hope this workshop will lead to further understanding of effective simulator training and lead to safer OPCAB procedures for Vietnam CV surgeons.
