小児心臓血管外科ウィンタースクール、イービーエム羽田医療技能訓練所で開催
The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Winter School was held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the EBM Haneda Medical Skills Training Center, for young cardiovascular surgeons in Japan.
This event was planned with the aim of directly conveying the appeal and latest technology of pediatric cardiac surgery to young cardiovascular surgeons across Japan and nurturing the next generation of cardiac surgeons.
The event was organized by the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Winter School Executive Committee (Chairman: Ichiro Tanaka, Chief of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the National Center for Child Health and Development), with our company providing the venue and providing operational support.
The school aimed to improve skills in pediatric congenital heart disease surgery, and involved wet-lab practical training using ram hearts in procedures such as cardiac dissection and ventricular septal defect (VSD) repair.
The facility, which is directly connected to Haneda Airport, is equipped with the latest surgical training equipment and is highly convenient, offering one-stop service from lectures to practical training of surgical procedures.
In such a fulfilling environment, participants gave positive feedback on the wet lab training, saying, "Practicing surgery using an actual heart was just like being in the field, and I learned a lot," as well as praising the convenience of the venue, saying, "The venue is very close to Haneda Airport and directly connected to the station, so there was little travel burden and I was able to concentrate on my training."
