【登壇報告】自動車業界ウェルビーイングラボに代表の朴がパネリストとして登壇しました

On Thursday, May 22, 2025, our company representative, Park Eikyo, took part in a panel discussion at the "Automotive Industry Well-Being Lab" (sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc.) held at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center.

This panel is an attempt to go beyond the boundaries that have been limited to the automotive industry and discuss the multifaceted nature of well-being by incorporating perspectives from other industries, and Park will be the first to speak from another industry.

The panel discussion focused on the following three themes, and included practical examples and thoughts from business managers in other industries.

1) Career development and how to support it
2) Balancing work with childcare/elderly care (work-life balance)
3) Creating a culture where employees are encouraged to take on challenges

We are working to create an organization that caters to the diverse values and life stages of each employee.
As a company within a daycare center, it has an in-house daycare space and implements a "work-with-children" program where the president himself comes to work with his children.
We introduced an organizational culture that sees children not as a cost but as "value centers" and accepts them as members of the company who can demonstrate value.
Examples of attempts to combine childcare, manufacturing, and education, such as having childcare workers take part in manufacturing sites as a second career, and ways in which childcare and work can coexist were also discussed.

He also introduced the culture of viewing the organization as an "extended family" and promoting the fusion of the Showa-era culture of mutual support with Reiwa-era digital operations.
・Improve business efficiency through symbols and digital transformation
・A "culture of mutual support" where the top executives themselves disclose information about their families and weaknesses
- Flat and free workplace management based on work regulations and contracts
- Rules are implemented using a negative list system (stating prohibited items)
The flexibility and speed of organizational management that is unique to venture companies became a hot topic.

In addition to presenting a way of working and organizational management that embodies EBM's core values, he also stressed the importance of leadership that combines proposals for society from an N=1 (individual case) perspective with a system design perspective.

This event provided a valuable opportunity to share knowledge across different industries and to learn about new possibilities for well-being.
